Artist Statement:
I work primarily from my own photography and my emphasis is on everyday scenes and landscapes that have strong compositions based on Notan value studies. I attempt to simplify the images, emphasizing tonal value range, saturated color and contrast using a modified "mask & pour" watercolor technique.
