Artist Statement:
Ancient Interflow is a Layered Watermedia Painting expressing my admiration for the perseverance and patience of ancient trees as they stand in constant observation while generations of our lives unfold beneath them. Nature evolves and endures, and creativity draws from observing. My interest in natural relationships transcending generations, currently centers on a series of paintings honoring Ancient Bristlecone Pines. These Pines exemplify a flawless sculptural beauty that is formed throughout their lives. Their beauty evolving and increasing through time. I find challenge and inspiration through layering various watermedia to honor the ever-evolving beauty in the trees, and the rhythmic Celtic cultural designs.
