NATIONAL WATERCOLOR SOCIETY

This studio painting was based on one of my previous plein air paintings at a local dairy farm where I saw these old-fashioned haystacks and the farmworkers. What I try to portray in my work is not only the nature itself, it is the extraordinary variety of nature’s light, moods, and movements that touches me. These special visual moments always happen in our daily ordinary life and I always feel the urge to capture them in my watercolor. I hope this painting not only shows my artistic attempt but also shares my personal perspective with the viewers, too.
