For many artists, the last two years have been the most challenging ever. However, those months under lockdown in Australia have also been among the most insightful and, in a different way rewarding. I have switched gears in how I approach and criticize my work. I have let go of a few mental roadblocks. I am having just a little more fun. In the end, That is what I most want to have with my work, fun. I do not feel there have been any major changes in how I work, or what I choose to paint. Those differences are internal, and I hope that those differences will slowly seep out in the upcoming years.
