In Honor of Judi BeWs Cash Award
This painting depicts two chairs in Shanghai, China and symbolises the inequity of many cultures. Side by side a padded chair with an Orange placed in the centre as a symbol of wealth and bounty and another repurposed Bobbin with newspaper wrapped around it for padding as a poor mans chair. Angus McEwan was born in Dundee, Scotland and studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College Art, graduating in Fine Art and printmaking with a Post Graduate Diploma in the same discipline. He is a signature member of the following societies NWS, RWS, RSW, AWI, RGI, IMWA, SDWS.
