"Northern Shore" is an imagined setting bordering wintry icy waters of a turbulent sea. Well, that's what it reminds me of. Not knowing how a painting will look at the onset is what excites me! Starting with merely poured colors, then making it into a weathered land abstraction, is my challenge.
