Artist Statement: Ancient Chinese poets, they like to give their emotions to nature. In autumn, because of the withering and fading of plants, ancient poets felt sad and yearning. Therefore, the painting also drew metaphors of withered lotus plants and lovebirds to convey young girls' yearning for their lovers.
