Artist Statement: “Clouds in the Valley”, acrylic on paper, was painted from a memory. In early spring clouds cascade over the Sandia Mountains and cover the valleys below. I was fascinated with this image since first moving to Albuquerque and have noticed clouds showing up in unusual places ever since.
